Temple Bar Design was asked to utilise this vacant plot for a new creche in the area.
The Clients asked for a modern, contemporary styled building which helps in the upliftment of the area as well. The Creche itself also serves as a necessity for the residents in the area.
Alongside the caption is a 3D visual of our concept. To aid in the modern appeal of the building, the structure includes aluminium rain screen system around the fully glazed street elevation, white rendered walls and a timber screen which elevates the colours of the building both externally and internally. The multi-coloured glazing on the street elevation also adds a playful atmosphere as you are walking past, or even playing within the structure.
The structure will be mostly powered by the sun with the use of solar panels fixed to the flat roof, and we have also proposed a green sedum roofing system to the flat roof which helps give back to the environment.
This project has successfully achieved the necessary planning applications and we are looking forward to the project going ahead soon.
